Designer: Di van Niekerk Silk Ribbon Embroidery, Printed Flower Design and Book
This worked piece is a Di van Niekerk design. I purchased the printed design fabric and the book for this design from her website. The printed size of the design is 37.5cm x 26.24cm (14.8 x 10.3 inches) and is printed on a nice size fabric with wide enough borders for tacking this piece onto wood bar frames for working on it.
Before tacking onto the bar frame I placed 30 count evenwear fabric behind it as a backing fabric for the weight of the silk ribbons and threads.
For this design’s instructions you have to purchase a well thought-out 120 page book from her.
