Project finished November 2014.
This little guy is what started me thinking about adding finished stitched pieces to box lids. This is a Stoney Creek (June 2007) design called Summer Bouquet. It is a 52w by 35h design worked on 14 count Aida (finished size is just under 4 inches by 2.5 inches).
The finished stitched piece was adhered to a quarter inch thick mat board with dress maker pins along the raw edge of the mat board and then I glued a dark brown satin ribbon around the raw edge of the mat board.
