Mayflower is a crewel design worked on 100% linen using Paternayan yarn. Elsa Williams collection, designer Michael LeClair. Finished in pillow size 12-inch by 12-inch.
Click below photos for enlarged view. This linen was nice but slightly a loose weave. Thus, as you can see on the back view photo, I was careful not to travel my threads from one area to the next unless, like on the leaves, I could slip the thread through a worked area (so that the thread would not peek through the linen).
