Those who are familiar with this Cross-Needle Hydrangea BE design that I purchased from the jdr-be.com website will pick up on the fact that I still have more French knots to stitch on the weedy or twig like top branches.
Photo of the kit showed coral or orange like rayon thread used for those French Knots and the kit I received had a light purple thread. I decided I like the coral color better and will wait until I get some rayon that color before I put in the final French knots.
This is Learning Kit 1 which teaches one to use rayon thread including using EdMar boucle thread to make the petals. The kit teachers the BE method of stitching: leaf stitch/alternating satin stitch, French knots, BE stem stitch, the couching stitch and the cross needle method to create the flowers.
