Coral Cathedral quilt begun July 2024, sent to MSQC January 2026, received back from MSQC March 13th.

A 96-inch (across the front) square quilt seems best size for the sofa. I trimmed (before shipping to MSQC) the raw edges of this quilt to be 85-inches by 98-inches. Finished size (after MSQC binding) upon return from MSQC: 88- by 92-inches. MSQC quilting and binding: $341.40
Center blocks from MSQC tutorial called Cathedral Windows Easy (and it was). These blocks are from 10-inch layer cakes (Graceful – Favorites) and Coral Dry Brush yardage. Most painful part of a Cathedral Window block is getting the seams to match. Each Catheral window frame of this quilt is double stitched to ensure the curve fabric of these blocks do not get caught during the MSQC machine quilting.
Outer blocks are from MSQC Sunshine Shoofly. Tutorial and digital downloaded quilt pattern. These blocks are 17-inch unfinished.
Bunny-fox-hedgehog-birdie with blue sky border is Hedgehog Hollow by Jason Yenter. Binding (by MSQC) used my supplied 1.5 yards of Kona Cotton Julep.
Used Kona Julep and Coral Dry Brush fabrics for the borders around the large inner block (of Catheral blocks and Sunshine Shoofly blocks) and borders of the Yenter’s Hedgehog Hollow border fabric.

MSQC quilting and binding: $341.40
