Starting January 2011 through late Fall 2011, the Oatlands (Virginia) EGA chapter offered member lead classes to do this nearly 36 inch long sampler.
Instructions came from EGA’s publication NeedleArts (issues June 2005 through March 2006), project called Mystery Sampler by Jana P. Kerr.
I know it is hard to see much on this photo, but when I am stuck for a stitch to use I often go into our living, take a look at this bell pull and find an idea.
If you click the photo below it will open in a larger view.
Stitched on 3.25″ wide, 28 count linen banding with drawn thread border. Fabric is raw in color.
We were to use 11 colors (blues, pinks, greens, etc.) I choose to use 17 colors all in the blue range.
