Repot your Amaryllis every three to four years, during its dormant period in the late fall or early winter, after the foliage has died back. To repot, remove the bulb from its old pot, gently clean off the soil, select a pot that is 1-2 inches wider, and plant the bulb with the top two-thirds exposed to fresh, well-draining soil.
Remove wax after blooming, let long leaves develop. Plant in orchid ceramic pots and water. Place in full summer sun. Only water once a month with heavy drench of water. |
