My sister wrote in her posting of this photo: My mother loved to create and stitch. She excelled with crocheting, knitting and making doll clothes. Often she did not use a pattern for the doll outfits, she made bras, panties, business suits with a blouse for underneath the jacket. Each Christmas there would be a fabulous bridal outfit or a fabulous gown complete with undergarments.. As my sister, Noelle and I grew up the dolls and the clothes were put in storage. Sadly, a storage fire destroyed everything. This photo is, I believe, Elsa Williams circa 1950, ordered from The Stitchery catalog. The stitches are a few French knots and lots of straight stitches. The actual design is 7 inches by 7 inches.
