Christmas Red runner

This Hardanger design was worked on a deep Christmas Red, 22 count Fine Ariosa fabric purchased from NeedleWorkersDelight web site.

These photos were taken outdoors in bright sunlight which brought an orange tint to the red coloring of the fabric.

This is my design but I did not write and publish a booklet for this design. Overall finished design is 32- by 14-inches.

Thread (single strands) used: Kreinik Silver color braid, DMC size 8, variegrated red and DMC size 5 (bright white for flowers and red (606). Candle flames are a DMC gold metallic floss.
