Stitched on 14 count grey Aida and backed with same fabric.
My plan was to stitch the backing fabric onto the front piece, on three sides and slide one of those plastic magnifying reading aids into it. Maybe a good idea, but I was watching TV when I finished this piece and before I knew it I had stitched all four sides closed. Oh, well. Anyway, I gave it to a library as a over sized bookmark for them to give away.
The thread is an over dyed range of silver to grey. Design is mine for showing off the shading of the thread.
